Yes, I'm telling my age. It's hard to believe that I'm half a century old.
My daughter wanted to throw me a party, but I nixed that idea. I just wanted to go to a certain restaurant about an hour and a half away. Then my daughter was going to get a bus and have a bunch of people go, so I nixed that idea, too. Since my birthday falls on a holiday, it's hard to plan things. I'm off that week, so MDH and I are going to go to the restaurant one day for lunch and then afterwards maybe get a hotel room for the night because I really want to go swimming and hang out in a hot tub for a while. I'm just wanting to keep it simple and stress free.
So, maybe for my birthday Cooper and I can get that 3rd leg on Saturday.

Yep -- for my 65th, Chase gave me a 3rd and a 4th leg in Novice B. That was about as nice a present as I could ask for (except for winning the lottery).

I had no idea we were so close in age. I will be the big 50 next month too. Your celebration sounds very appealing to me. I may ask for the same. :)

50 was a breeze - now 55 is just a few months away....somehow in my minds eye, I still think I'm in my late 30's - that is until I look in the mirror and see my head full of silver hair!
